His prior experience as a program manager really shows : he communicates clearly, manages schedules and costs thoughtfully, and stays on top of every detail. What really sets Miguel apart is his level of involvement. Unlike many contractors who subcontract the work and disappear (only to resurface on payday), Miguel was on site every single day for hours. He personally made sure everything was running smoothly and that no corners were being cut. His attention to detail and diligence were evident throughout the project.
Even after the project was completed, Miguel has continued to make himself available on multiple occasions to help us with other needs, completely unrelated to the original scope of work. That kind of follow-through is rare.

These guys are great in many ways...they are quick to respond, provide a free estimate and get to work. Their price was very competitive, and their finished work product looks good. I have found, however, that they are unwilling to come back and fix a few blemishes, like irrigation piping that sticking out in many places, and uneven mulching. They have pretty much said that once the job is done, they wont return. So, either hold back some of the payment for a few weeks, or expect that you might have to have someone else finish the stuff they arent willing to do, like smoothing out mulch on a hillside or reburying irrigation line. Other than their unwillingness to return, the work looks great and the price was right!!

Miguel and his team did a wonderful job on trimming back and laying bark. The yard looks great. They also ran 2 additional irrigation lines as requested.
My problem is that when I asked him about burying the irrigation lines, instead of telling me that was not included in the quote, he ignored my question until it became an issue. After I paid him, my bad.
Otherwise the job was done in a professional manner and they picked up all rubbish. They also cleaned up my rose bushes, which were not included in the original quote.
